I cannot agree more with Steve, from 'Steve and Julie - Stoney Creek'. My husband and I had the honour of Pete capturing our wedding on film. Nine years later I love looking at every single photo just as much now as I did the first time. Truely timeless and amazing sense of artistry. We love having these treasures to look back on and actually see the emotions caught frame by frame. Thank you so much for the memories and nothing but the best to Stec Photography in the future.

Hello, I'm Steve (from Julie & Steve - Stoney Creek)

I can honestly say we spent a lot of time looking at pictures and talking to different photographers before we choose Stec.
They were one of the first photographers we interviewed when we met Pete and Deb at the Hamilton Bridal show.
The only problem for us was that the set the bar too high and every person after that failed to compare.
By far, we did the most oohing and ahhhing looking at their work with so many unique angles, unique affects and unique look and feel to their work.
From most photographers we were able to pick out 2 or 3 or 4 pics from their catalogue that we truly liked and kept in the back of our mind...Clearly they are displaying their best work.
We found ourselves quite more taken by so much of Stec's work and the vintage look.
We learned SOOOOO much about photography from the experience of have actually developed an interest the field from the time we have spent. (Strictly amateur - no competition for you :-) )

Taking the photographs on the event day is stage 1. Deb was our photographer for the day both her and her assistant are friendly consummate professionals and a joy to work with.

Stage 2 and where the unseen work is spent and where you get your true value. It's the time spent artistically enhancing the photos and giving the most amazing feel and affect for the truly inspiring shots. This is where Stec really shines. (not to diminish their abilities of taking the shots, because they do not lack here at all).

To summarize, I want to pass on the lessons I've learned interviewing photographers.
Most photographers will go through their pictures for the day and enhance them for a better look and colour/exposure/white balance etc.
We did not find anyone that spends the time to artistically enhance as many photos (and as well) to truly give that special look and feel that makes the photos so worthwhile.

Thank you from Steve and Julie
